MORE THAN A DROP,
THIS ONE’S FOR THE BLOCK.

First, Metro dropped prices, and now, to celebrate, we’re dropping our first collab with Chicago artist Mía Lee. Inspired by the block for the block, this collection is an ode to those who keep the community moving and make it feel like home.

From the bodega clerks and street vendors to muralists and buskers, Mía Lee’s artwork invites you to wear your block proudly.

Rep your block and shop The Price Drop Drop.

What inspired your “from the block for the block” design?

For the artwork, I wanted to illustrate a street scene that gives a sense of organic community, the kind where people connect, share moments, and contribute their own unique energy to the vibrancy of their block. In the illustration I want to depict everyday people, sitting outside taking a lunch break, eating lunch, buying flowers, etc. very representative of the diverse and dynamic neighborhoods that I live in. Most importantly highlighting the people you encounter on any giver block in the city. Different ages, styles, and backgrounds coming together.
